sions coordinator that makes sure that
enrolment is consistent across the cam-
puses.”
MC College has also developed
culture training. All new staff members
who are hired on by the college make a
trip to Edmonton for culture training.
The MC College staff imparts on new
hires how they are to conduct them-
selves and how they are to train stu-
dents. “Private colleges can be looked
at in a negative light because in Cana-
da it is the view that education should
not be for profit,” Harrison says, “so
we have to go even above and beyond
normal standards for education, and
we do.”
