n Canada , Henry
Technolo-
gies has been manufacturing in
Canada as Chil-Con since February
1967.
The company has shifted and
grown from being a manufacturer of
chillers and condensers and is now a
world-class fabricator of pressure ves-
sels and heat exchangers—Henry is
truly an innovator in the global mar-
ket.
As a Canadian manufacturer,
Henry Technologies serves its local
and national markets including oil
and gas, petrochemical and industrial
refrigeration industries. The com-
pany’s equipment is sold all over the
world, to customers in North Amer-
ica, Middle East, Europe, South East
Asia, Australasia, China and Russia.
Advanced quality and
technology in manufacturing
The company’s Canadian facility
houses the latest technology including
two 6-axis chuck driven layout and cut
machines, and also houses a unique
pneumatic test bunker that allows us
to pressure test up to 20,000 psi. Tech-
nology is crucial to Henry Technolo-
gies Canadian manufacturing plant in
Brantford, Ontario (an ideal location
for international business). The 120,000
square feet plant has seen over $3 mil-
lion in investment that has been used
to upgrade equipment: state-of-the-art
CNC lathes, mills, plasma cutting and
plate rolling equipment. According to
the company, they have “invested in
upgrading their design and drafting
capability from 2-D to 3-D, which com-
pliments their existing finite element
and thermal analysis software.”
Mike Walsh, Sales and Market-
ing Director for the company says that
with the technological upgrades of
Henry’s facilities the company really
has become “industry leaders in the
industrial fridge process plant equip-
ment industry.”
The company’s quality and cus-
tomer process are second-to-none:
quality systems and procedures are
certified to ISO 9001:2008 standard by
The Registrar Company Inc, accredited
by ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation
Board, one of the world's largest inter-
nationally accepted accreditation firms.
In addition to this quality standard we
hold approvals for ASME, Pressure
Equipment Directive, CE and other
internationally accepted standards.”
Company culture
In Brantford, Henry has a loyal
and long-serving workforce, accord-
ing to the company “augmented with
new recruits who have the benefit of a
rigorous training program carried out
both internally and externally.”
Our management has really im-
proved our manufacturing capabilities.
