Price Landscaping is owned
by Ellen Ruddick, Nigel Bayliss and
Kevin Nauss. This dream landscaping
team took over the company from the
previous owner last year. “We began as
Price Contractors in 1968, so we have
had a long history of business in the
Moncton area,” Bayliss says. “We have
rebranded the company into what it is
today—and this change has stemmed
from the fact that landscaping is our
expertise. The previous owner had
a call from a client asking if they did
landscaping, and the answer was
landscaping, that’s our specialty!’” he
reflects. Things haven’t changed in that
respect.

The owners say that some of the
Price Landscaping staff have over 25
years in the landscaping business,
making the team one of the most expe-
rienced in New Brunswick—no matter
what the project is.
We have staff with professional
credentials such as Certified Land-
scape Designer, CLD, Certified Horti-
cultural Technician, CHT and Certified
Landscape Professional, CLP as well
as being heavily involved in our land-
scape association and related groups,”
the company says. Ruddick adds that
Price has a policy to “strive to hire peo-
ple that have qualifications in our in-
dustry and are passionate about what
they do.”

The company has come a long
way with the help of a very dedicated
management team, and experienced
staff. Today, Price Landscaping offers
a full range of design, installation and
landscape maintenance services for
residential, commercial and industrial
clients. The Price team can do custom
applications for their customers, and
are always willing to go the extra mile.
Being adaptable, and having a vision
has always been important for Price
Landscaping, because on many occa-
sions, clients might not realize what
exactly they want done until the Price
team gets involved. It is also common
