manages a new area of the business,
called Renewaste.
The Renewaste division of the
company is centred
on automated vacu-
um waste collection.
A Renewaste system
transports waste,
recycling, and organ-
ics through a com-
plex pipe system to
a convenient area for
pick up. Renewaste
simplifies the waste
recycling process for
building tenants and waste collectors,
and the system can handle all types of
waste.
METROTAIFUN TECHNOLOGY
This Renewaste system is based
on the technology known as MetroTai-
fun. The MetroTaifun system is “an au
tomatic solid waste collection system
(
AWCS) based on pneumatic convey-
ing technology.” MetroTaifun, devel-
oped in Europe, was created to enable
customers to avoid sending waste to
landfill. The MetroTaifun technology
has 25 per cent smaller pipes than
other vacuum waste technologies,
and waste is formatted to fit a smaller
pipe through the MetroTaifun Forma-
tor solution. The MetroTaifun solution
